THE FRIENDS-ONLY AIRBNB

I’m building a friends-only airbnb concept called HOMEES.

Essentially geared towards digital nomads like myself who want to travel more, and have the ability to do so, often. To just go and work from somewhere else for a few weeks and experience living in another city, somewhere familiar i.e. your friend’s place (while they’re off to a sister’s wedding or a month long trip to South America).

People want to travel more, but it’s only getting more expensive to do that. They are also working remotely more and have the time to be able to do that. There are other platforms out there that offer homeswapping, but what if it was exclusively with your friends only? There’s a level of trust and comfort and familiarity you won’t get from a strangers place. So let’s make it a thing. Wanna join my HOMEES network?

HOW does IT WORK?

The idea is you can browse the available homes (posted by your Homees) by date or by location, or go any where / any time.

You can browse your Friends ⭕️ circle, or browse Friends of Friends ⭕️, or if you’re feeling really adventurous Friends of Friends of Friends ⭕️. Like Linkedin 1st connections, 2nd connections, 3rd connections approach.

Third-degree of separation is pretty exciting. I am technically connected to Snoop Dogg by third-degree separation 👀 First-degree friends are a safer bet though and the safety, comfort and trust you get from staying at each other’s homes is what makes this such a good idea.
